– or even later
Pandorea jasminoides
Tender, evergreen, vigorous twining vine from Australia. Dark
green glossy pinnate
leaves and beautiful 2” wide flared pinky white trumpet
flowers with a dark crimson
throat. Ideal for conservatory or sunroom - if given a minimum
winter temperature
of 10 C ( 50 F ) will keep flowering all year. My Conservatory
is kept just above
freezing so I cut back hard in winter to the main stem with just
3”-4” spurs.
Seed grown from my white and pink forms so may be variations in
flower colour.
*Good soil, bright position. Summer/winter. 10ft. £5.80

Persicaria amplexicaulis ‘Alba’

*Sun or part shade, not too dry. Midsummer onwards. 3-4ft. £4.80

Phlox - All the following
Phlox flower from August onwards, when their rich fragrance wafts
through the garden. Most are elegant, long forgotten old-fashioned
varieties I have collected and which have proved to be garden

In drier gardens they are happier in part or even full shade.
Do try them against the bright yellows and oranges of the Autumn
garden.

Pulmonaria - The following recently introduced
silver leaved Pulmonarias really are a ‘must have’
for any garden. They light up shady corners, sparkle in sunny

so lovely, the snails never eat them.
